I recently picked up a copy of Minimalissimo Nº1 on a recent visit to Oak + Fort. As a devout reader of the website I was very excited when they announced the publication many months ago; to see it in a shop meant a purchase was necessary.
Now I will say that I am often disappointed by independent magazines. They are often unapproachable, light on content, and heavy on the tiny print. A magazine should feel utilitarian; it should enable reading and influence. I am rather pleased to say that Minimalissimo seems to strike a fantastic balance between all three attributes. The publication is comfortable to hold and to read, and there is a wealth of beautiful photographs and insightful conversations.
