About

I am a skincare consultant who studies marketing and commerce, blogs about skincare, writes a mean line of HTML, and drafts a fine looking UI.

I am currently in my fourth year at Humber in Toronto studying for my Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Marketing. I hope to leverage those skills in the beauty, marketing, or advertising industry. At the moment I am developing my ability to think in different ways as a skincare consultant for one of the world’s most influential beauty retailers. Previous to that I contributed as a writer for a respected online design publication and managed finances for a small business.

Through my education at Humber I have created marketing plans for notable companies which met the goals quoted, conducted market research across industries, built a complete e-commerce solution for a start-up business, and solved complex marketing problems through the case study model developed by Harvard. These experiences have been an incredible asset to both my professional and personal development, and I appreciate their positive effect on my ability to think critically, organize data, collaborate, and present conclusions in a digestible manner.

My focus in life is to gain as diverse of an experience as possible; the best decisions are made by those with a perspective composed of many different skills rather than just a few. This belief has led me to develop my skills in writing creatively and editorially, photography and videography, graphic design, HTML and CSS, brand and project management, and basic chemistry and biology. In being open to learning a wide array of things I bring a deeper knowledge and ability to any issue.
